Procedure #3- in sandy soils (or other soils) in which the first 6 inches of water seeps away in less <br /> than 30 minutes after the overnight saturation period. <br /> A. Refill the hole to approximately 6 inches above the gravel. <br /> B. From a fixed reference point, take the readings 10 minutes apart over a one hour period. <br /> C. Use the smallest reading change,calculate percolation rate in minutes per inch. <br /> VIII. At the time of percolation test Environmental Health Staff will: <br /> h <br /> i <br /> 1 A. Review application and parcel map for accuracy and correctness. <br /> f B. Observe raw field data, recorded prior to arrival. <br /> C. Observe and document on EHD "Percolation Test Application" the readings during the final <br /> F30 minutes of the test. <br /> D.
