The soil borings were used later <br /> for percolation test holes;the locations of the borings are indicated in Plate 1. <br /> L /5.2 Soil Boring Dimensions <br /> The soil borings were ten, fifteen feet or about three feet deep, as noted above,and were four inches <br /> Lin diameter. <br /> L A3 Soil Lithology Observed <br /> Generally,the soil encountered in the boring is similar to the soils reported by the San Joaquin <br /> County Soil Survey for the area (USDA, 1992).The following table presents the representative soil <br /> {` log for the nine foot deep soil boring.
