L
June 23,2006
NOA Project Number. E06058B
6.8 Discussion of Septic System Sizing
fSeptic System construction should follow the San Joaquin County On-Site Wastewater Disposal
1r Standards where applicable.
7.0 CONCLUSIONS
L In summary, a satisfactory percolation rate of the soil was achieved in the proposed septic disposal
area on proposed Parcels 1 and 2. The proposed parcels appear suitable for standard septic systems
utilizing leach lines and pits.
M No ground water was encountered in any of the borings drilled on the property. The depth to
groundwater was 110 to 130 feet in 1999.The on-site water well was tested for nitrate and DBCP.
4 DBCP was non-detectable, and nitrate concentration in ground water was found to be 16.8 mg/L-
r NO3i below the maximum contaminant drinking water limit of 45 mg/L-NO3.
L 8.0 LIMITATIONS
L The conclusions of this report are based on the information provided regarding the existing and
proposed development, the use of the subject property, and the site conditions as they existed at the
time we excavated out test holes and performed the percolation tests. It was assumed that the test
L holes and percolation test results are representative of the subsurface conditions in the general area.
Our professional services were performed, our findings obtained, and our conclusions proposed in
accordance with generally accepted engineering principles and practices. This warranty is in lieu of
all other warranties either expressed or implied. Test findings and statements of professional
. opinion do not constitute a guarantee or warranty, expressed or implied.
L
NEIL O.ANDERSON&ASSOCIATES, INC.
I
Nan y Rosulek, A.
