As an assistant to industrial <br /> hygienist, performed preliminary phase Indoor Air Quality investigation which <br /> involved a visual inspection of the affected areas. Evaluated HVAC system <br /> condition and preventative maintenance procedures, general maintenance activities, <br /> � and point source emissions from office equipment and/or adjacent renovation <br /> activities in order to provide recommended mitigation options. An advanced IAQ <br /> investigation which can include air monitoring proved to be unnecessary in several <br /> cases based on the findings of the preliminary phase investigation. <br /> Asbestos Management - Various Locations Throughout California. Performed all <br /> phases of asbestos consulting including airborne and bulk sampling, bidding and <br /> negotiation for selection of abatement contractors, and asbestos abatement <br /> monitoring to ensure that removal was in accordance with pertinent regulations. <br /> Facilities included commercial, manufacturing and industrial ranging in size from <br /> 1,000 to 500,000 square feet. <br /> Sunrise Mall - Citrus Heights, California. Performed several asbestos building <br /> material surveys for specific lease space tenants. Provided contractor abatement <br /> oversight, compliance monitoring, and surveillance for airborne asbestos using state- <br /> of-the art techniques. <br /> .. Hazardous Materials Surveys, Safeway, Inc., Various Locations Throughout <br /> California. As a certified asbestos consultant and lead supervisor, Mr. D'Amico was <br /> involved in performing hazardous materials surveys for Safeway, Inc. throughout <br /> I. California. The hazardous materials noted during the surveys included asbestos, lead- <br /> based paint, polychlorinated biphenyls, chlorofluorcarbons, and mercury. After <br /> completion of the surveys, Mr. D'Amico was involved in the preparation of Asbestos <br /> Abatement Specifications for the removal of the asbestos-containing materials <br /> identified during the surveys. The specifications also included the proper removal <br /> and handling procedures for other hazardous materials located on the site. <br /> Privileged & Confidential Attorney-Client Project, Oxnard, California.
