The <br />property size is 140.8 acres in size and is presently agricultural land. Mr. Louis Mendez of <br />Dillon and Murphy Engineers requested that our office conduct percolation tests to satisfy a <br />requirement of the Environmental Health Department for siting a new residential septic system. <br />The percolation test hole locations are indicated on the attached site map. The percolation test <br />hole for Parcel 1 was located 700 feet to the south of East Jahant Road and 50 feet to the west of <br />the proposed eastern property boundary line. The percolation test hole for Parcel l was located <br />300 feet south of the proposed northern property line and 700 feet to the east of the proposed <br />western property boundary. The percolation test hole for Parcel 3 was located 420 feet to the east <br />of the proposed western property line and 1301 feet to the south of the Jahant Road. <br />The drilling of three, twenty-five (25) foot and three, three (3) foot deep percolation test borings <br />was conducted on January 26, 2006 using an all terrain vehicle -mounted deep rock drilling rig <br />with an 8 -inch diameter auger. The soils in the boring on Parcel 1 were found to be reddish <br />brown to brown moist clayey sand to a depth of approximately 17 feet, followed by a flowing <br />silty sand to a depth of 25 feet.
