"IW- <br /> AUG 0 6 <br /> I N T RUDUCT I ON <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH <br /> PERMIT/SERVICES <br /> This study was prepared to satisfy the requirements of the <br /> Conditions of Approval for Minor Subdivision MS-91-42. <br /> PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br /> The project is to create a 1 .87 acre homesite parcel <br /> containing the existing house, shop, septic system and <br /> domestic well . The remaining 2B± acre parcel is a <br /> potential building site. See Exhibit 1 . <br /> PRESENT & PAST USE OF SITE <br /> The site located at 6589 East Jahant Road , Acampo is <br /> presently a mature vineyard . The majority of the adjacent <br /> land is used for agricultural crops or pasture. <br /> EXISTING SEPTIC TANK USEAGE <br /> The owner of the site, Michael Phillips, reported that his <br /> existing septic system was constructed in 1979 and that he <br /> has had no problems with the system. Neighbors were also <br /> interviewed concerning their septic systems. The results <br /> of these interviews follow: <br /> 1 . Owner : Margaret Petroczy <br /> Address : 6735 East Jahant Road <br /> Location : Neighbor to the East of the site <br /> Septic : Septic system is 20 years old . No <br /> problems reported . <br /> 2. Owner : J . De Kuyer <br /> Address: 6787 East Jahant Road <br /> Location : Second property to the East of the site <br /> Septic : System was constructed in 1971 . No <br /> problems reported with leach area . <br /> 3 . Owner : Carol Lavagnino <br /> Address: 6379 East Jahant Road <br /> Location : Neighbor to the West of the site <br /> Septic : Septic system is 17 years old . No <br /> problems reported . <br /> 4 . Owner : Doris Johnson <br /> Address: 6341 East Jahant Road <br /> Location : Second Property to the West of the site <br /> Septic : Mrs. Johnson reported that she renovated <br /> her leach area in 1990 by adding pits . <br /> Her old system would sometimes back up <br /> during severe rainstorms . <br />
