SU-92-14 (TRACT NO. 2576)
Dear Mr. Celum:
Your Improvement Plans and Specifications for JAHANT RANCHETTES
located on the south side of Jahant Road, east of Bruella Road,
northwest of Lockeford have been approved. Our approval of your
subdivision Improvement Plans covers only the design of improvement
features shown on the plans. It is emphasized that the Improvement
Plan approval does not supersede any required applications,
permits, approvals, or inspections involving State or Federal
agencies, other County departments and districts, including the
Community Development Department and Public Health Services.
Building and electrical details are under the jurisdiction of the
Community Development Department. A permit is required for all
work within County rights-of-way and waterways. Any changes to
these Improvement Plans must be prepared and certified by a
California Registered Civil Engineer, and shall be approved by the
Director of Public Works or his designee, prior to construction.
Concerning improvements to be inspected by the Public Works
Department, the Field Engineering Division (209-468-3022) shall be
notified not less than 24 hours in advance of commencing any
construction. A meeting with the Developer or his authorized
representative, the contractor and this department should be
scheduled with the Field Engineering Division prior to commencing
work on this project.
It is of major importance that the foregoing procedures be followed
in order that this department may recommend to the Board of
Supervisors that the completed works be accepted by the County.
Any work performed without adequate inspection may be deemed
unacceptable, thereby jeopardizing project acceptance. It is also
necessary that the subdivider execute an improvement agreement
