L <br /> LMay 22,2006 <br /> NOA Project Number: E06048A <br /> L 3.4 Past Off-Site Sources of Contamination <br /> L No above-or below-ground potential or known sources of contamination to the subject property were <br /> identified from past uses of surrounding properties, except for the following: <br /> LLUST cases located 2004 Mariposa Road and 2088 Mariposa Road. <br /> M 3.5 Current Off-Site Sources of Contamination <br /> No above-or below-ground potential or known sources of contamination to the subject property were <br /> identified from current uses of the surrounding properties, except for the following: <br /> LLUST case located 2132 Mariposa Road is open. <br /> LSurrounding properties may use septic and well systems. <br /> 4.0 EVALUATION OF IDENTIFIED CONTAMINATION SOURCES <br /> L The LUST cases located at 2004 Mariposa Road and 2088 Mariposa Road are now closed and no impact <br /> is expected to the subject property from these sites. <br /> LThe LUST case at 2132 Mariposa Road is open and currently being monitored. <br /> L The rear of the property was used as a truck parking lot,however no visible staining was evident during <br /> the site visit. <br /> j Three inoperable vehicles are located on the subject property. <br /> An underground storage tank is located on the subject property. If the tank is not to be used it should <br /> L be removed and disposed of according to local, state and federal laws. This tank may need to be <br /> permitted, depending on its use, size and contents, the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department should be contacted for further information. <br /> LIf water wells are not properly operated and maintained, they can serve as contamination conduits to <br /> groundwater. Septic systems may be used for inappropriate disposal of hazardous substances. In this <br /> L case there is no evidence to suggest that wells or septic systems may be contaminant pathways on the <br /> subject property or vicinity. <br /> L <br /> 8 <br />
