Surface&Subsurface Contamination Report Page 13 <br /> Sandhu Project <br /> Project No. 597.1 <br /> February 12, 2009 <br /> 26815 Kasson Road. This site is the canal property on the opposite (west) side <br /> of Kasson Road from the subject Property. The site is identified as a facility that <br /> formerly operated an underground fuel tan and disposed of a small quantity of <br /> hazardous waste. <br /> Based on the results of the EDR report, it was not deemed necessary to further <br /> investigate off-site facilities except to better determine the depth to the <br /> groundwater surface. <br /> 3.2 Local Records Sources <br /> Five sources of information were accessed at the local level. Files from the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department, Agricultural Commission, <br /> Office of Emergency Services, and Assessor's Office were requested. Air photos <br /> were acquired at the San Joaquin County Public Works Department and <br /> TerraServer. <br /> County EHD Records <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department was contacted in <br /> writing to request access to records documenting environmental conditions on <br /> subject Property. On January 19, 2009, the clerk responsible for public file <br /> review requests indicated that no records associated with the Property had been <br /> located. <br /> San Joaquin County Assessor's Office <br /> The San Joaquin County Assessor's office, located at 24 South Hunter Street, <br /> Room 303, in Stockton, CA was visited on January 15, 2009. The records <br /> contained information regarding current and former buildings on the Property <br /> as summarized in the following points. <br /> Parcel 3 <br /> The mobile home was manufactured in 1985 but was placed on the site in <br /> 2008. It is a double-wide unit with a total area of about 1,300 square feet. <br /> The site is served by a septic tank. Water for domestic use is apparently <br /> delivered from the irrigation pump station. Presumably, drinking water <br /> is provided by bottled water. <br /> The steel shop building has dimensions of 75 by 40 feet (3,000 s.£). It is ' <br /> mounted on a concrete slab.
