The two ponds were constructed extremely well and are denoted as the south
pond and north pond on the attached plot map. It is our undersmnding both ponds will act as
wastewater storage since there will be a mechanical manure separator used instead of a settling pond.
The soil in both ponds were visually and tactually analyzed in the field and in our laboratory in
accordance with ASTM D2488 Practice for Description and Identification of Soils (Visual-Manual
Procedure). The soil throughout the sides and bottoms were extremely homogeneous. Therefore,
the samples from each respective pond was composited for individual testing. Six samples were
taken from the south pond and five from the north pond, at depths of 0-12 inches. The sample
locations are referenced on the attached map, along with the dimensions. The ponds are
approximately 20 feet deep with the bottom elevations near the outside existing grade.
The testing consisted of the hydrometer analysis for _oil samples according to ASTM D422-63
Particle-size Analysis of Soils. ASTNI D422 specifies the reporting limit for clay size particles as
0.005 mm or less, and gravel size as 4 mm or greater.
Ou/e.O. and).flan areIttffd ae the confidential OroOeny of our clierns for Marti x Any Publication S nereduction at statement],conclusions or enncta from ar
n garalny;ur reoor[s or wle s.s reeerveC,conlln9ent uoon Ule wnflln iYlnoniallOn of Duality ConlrP nsosctlon.Inc_
