Written comments should be submitted to the following address: <br /> San Joaquin County Community Development Department <br /> 1810 East Hazelton Avenue <br /> Stockton,CA 95205-3163 <br /> ATTN:Chandler Martin <br /> The Initial Study along with supporting documents is available for review during normal business hours at the above address. <br /> A public hearing before the Planning Commission is tentatively scheduled for June 21,2007,at 6:30 p.m.or as soon as possible thereafter at the <br /> Public Health/Planning Auditorium located at the address below. <br /> 1601 East Hazelton Avenue <br /> Stockton,CA <br /> List of Significant Environmental Effects Anticipated as a Result of the Project: <br /> • Unacceptable Levels of Service for regional roadways,including certain locations at 1-205 <br /> • Increased emissions of ozone precursors and total suspended particulate matter <br /> • Exposure of the public and structures to seismic ground shaking <br /> • Loss of wildlife habitat <br /> The Presence of the Project Site on Any of the Lists of Sites Enumerated under Section 65962.5 of the Governmcnt Code: <br /> • Tracy O&M Complex,15990 Kelso Road.A]though the site is listed in the AST database,there is no record of accidental release at <br /> said site.Thus,this site does not pose a risk to the project. <br /> • 18150 Kelso Road.Records for this site are available at the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(SJCEHD).File <br /> review indicated that a fommer farmhouse,well,and septic tank had been located on this property. An application for a lot line <br /> adjustment indicates that an adjustment was requested to allow the formation of a separate parcel for the Mountain House Community <br /> Services District(MHCSD)water treatment plant In the process,the SJCEHD required the proper abandonment of a septic system <br /> and well after demolition and removal of the farmhouse. Thus,this site does not pose a risk to the project. <br /> • MHCSD Water Treatment Plant,18045 South Kelso Road.The MHCSD water treatment plant(WTP)is located at the southern edge <br /> of the project.The San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services indicates the WTP has the following chemical inventory: <br /> aluminum sulfate,diesel,polymer,potassium pemmarmganate,sodium hydroxide,and sodium hypochlorite. These chemicals are <br /> associated with operations at the WTP and are used in accordance with Federal and State regulations.
