Facilities within Neighborhood Parks may lndode swimming pools, hard surface courts, playgrounds, field garnesr picnic tables, and free play areas. Community Parks: Community parks are located to provide easy access from neighborhoods, and to make use of the Mountain Mouse Creek o❑rrid❑r. Much of the arraao allocated to commun4y parks is located along Mountain H❑use Creek,with major parks sited lust north of the Town Center, Additional community parks are located south of Grant Line Road, adjacent to Neighborhood AIB and north of Byron Road to serve areas mete distant from the Creek and Town Center. Community parks are intended to provide active recreation facilities such as athietic felds and Complexes, swimming pools, tennisha❑quet courts, and for pnsslve uses such as picnicking,joggingMmIkingfbicycle paths,and nature areas. A portion of acreage designated for parks may be utilized for c❑mmunitp facilities sunk as senior centers, swimming pools. Stadiums. or libraries provided overall minimum County Park standards are met. Regional Park: The 88-acre Regional Park consists of a riverfront park along the Old RiVer edge_ This location snakes use of the river's open spacal wlldllfe and scenic values to provide a regional open space and recmational resource.
