MOUNTAIN HOUSE MASTER PLAN <br /> feature only one component of a Neighborhood Center, a Neighborhood <br /> Park located on the east side of the neighborhood. Neighborhoods A and <br /> B shall be consolidated and share a Neighborhood Center. <br /> c} The majority of neighborhoods shall be seporaW by Arterial streets with <br /> onty Local or C❑lloctor streets or curring within the neighborhood. As rnuch <br /> as passible, nelghborhoad boundaries Shall also delineate the attendance <br /> houndarles of each K-8 school, thereby minimizing the need to cross <br /> Arterial streets to gain access to the school Serving that neighborhood. <br /> Nelghb❑rhoodAJB is an exceptionwhere Central Parkway,a min❑rArtenal, <br /> passes through the neighborhood. <br /> d) Each of the flxse-ten family nelghb❑rhoods,and the two mixed active adult <br /> and family neighborhoods when taken together, shall be sized to support <br /> one K-8 school. <br /> e) Each neighborhood shall Include a mix of residential housing types, for <br /> residents with a variety of income levels, providing diversity and choice for <br /> residents, <br /> f} Higher density housing shall be concentrated within and near t;he Town <br /> Center, and near commercial and industrial centers, transit facilities, and <br /> open space amenities such as the Mountain House Creek c❑rndor. <br /> g) Lower density hoiJsing shall be generally located near the westem edge of <br /> the community rinser to agricultural areas or in areas of existing residential <br /> development. It stall be located away from the Town Center, Village <br /> Cerner commercial uses and Central Parkway. <br /> h) Within neighbarttonds. RIM uses shall generally be located nearest the <br /> Town Center, Gentral Parkway, and Village Commercial Centers, as <br /> applicable. <br /> 1) The Master Plan Map oambines low Density Residential and Medium <br /> Density Residential (RIL, RIM) General Plan designations to allow for <br /> flexibility In the design of netghborhoods, These uses shall be delineated <br /> separately at the Specific Plan stage. Acreage allocations forPJL and RIM <br /> shall be approximately as shown on Tables 3.1,3.2r and 3.3. <br /> J} Open space connections shall be provided from neighborhoods to <br /> community paries and other open space areas, such as Mountain Hous, <br /> Creek linear park. These ccnnections may consist of linear parks, multi- <br /> use paths,trails, local streets With sidewalks, or bikeways.
