Soil Suitability Study Parcel No. 1 and Remainder <br /> The results of the tests for Nitrate (NO3) for both the <br /> domestic and irrigation well water are well within the State ' s <br /> standards for safe public drinking water . <br /> The results of the tests for DBCP for both the domestic and <br /> irrigation well water , however , exceed the safe concentration <br /> standard established by San Joaquin County for this chemical at 0 . 2 <br /> ug/l.. There are no state or federal regulations that apply to <br /> drinking water standards for private wells . However , special <br /> requirements and considerations would be required to provide safe <br /> standards on any well installation proposed for the general <br /> public ' s use. <br /> The well water analysis was performed by FGL Environmental and <br /> is shown on the attached letter dated May 29 , 1992 . <br /> Engineer ' s Statement : <br /> Septic Systems can be installed to the density proposed and it <br /> is not expected to impact groundwater nor cause other health <br /> hazards . <br /> Walter E.
