Curtis <br /> Civil Engineer <br /> C.E. # 11584 <br /> 418 Matthew Plaza <br /> Lodi , California 95240 <br /> Phone: (209) 368-4149 <br /> June 26 , 1992 <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Service <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> Subject : Soil Suitability Study for the Marvin and Loretta Taylor <br /> property which consists of separating out Parcel 1 , 1 . 64 <br /> acres gross , 1 . 50 acres net , from about a 38 . 64 acres <br /> larger parcel leaving about 37 acres as the remaining <br /> parcel at 20605 North Kennefick Road, Lodi , California. <br /> Submitted for your review and consideration are the results of <br /> Soil Profile and Percolation tests conducted on the Marvin and <br /> Loretta Taylor property located in San Joaquin County at 20605 <br /> North Kennefick Road, Lodi , California, and situate on the west <br /> side of Kennefick Road from Acampo Road to 0 . 5 mile south of Acampo <br /> Road in San Joaquin County, State of California. <br /> Existing Septic System: <br /> Existing San Joaquin County Records were reviewed for the <br /> subject property as well as the area in the immediate vicinity of <br /> the subject property. A total of eight ( 8) permits were reviewed. <br /> All of the permits reviewed were noted to be northerly of the <br /> subject property. Four (4 ) permits were for a combination of leach <br /> lines and pits construction. One ( 1 ) permit was for a leach field <br /> installation. Three permits were for additions to existing septic <br /> systems . Two (2) permits were for adding leach lines in combination <br /> with pits and one ( 1 ) permit was for an additional leach line. <br /> These septic systems were installed between June, 1968 and July, <br /> 1985 . <br /> The soils listed in the eight ( 8) permits reviewed varied from <br /> clay loam to hardpan. The University Of California, College of <br /> Agriculture, Agricultural Experimental Station, Berkeley, <br /> California publication entitled "Soils Of San Joaquin County, <br /> California" , by Walter W. Weir , lists the soil at the subject <br /> property as "Hanford Loam" and I have referred to it as "sandy <br /> loam" on my "Percolation Data Sheet" . <br />
