Nllb Hatell San Joaquin County Community Development Department" 1810 East Hazelton Avenue Stockton., CA 95205 Dear Ms. Mo Hatef: SEVEN PARCEL LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT ON PROPERTY UNDER CONSERVATION CONTRACT,, PA-15001'06 (LA), PA-1500108 (LA), AND..PA-1500109 (LA) The Department of Conservation's (Department):Division of Land Resource Protection (Division) rias reviewed the Lot Line-Adjustment(LLA) Applications Submitted-by San Joaquin County. The Division monitors farmland conversion on a statewide basis ani administers the California Land Conservation (Williamson) Act and other agricultural land conservation programs. We offer the following comments and recommendations with respect to the proposed project. Protect Description The proposed-lot line adjustments were submitted as three separate applications, for a combined total of seven adjusted parcel boundaries'. The lot line adjustments will-occur on properties under a Williamson Act contract. The adjustments will create three homesite-parcels that will no longer be subject to the contract. Department Comments „ f Based on the information provided in the application referrals, the Department requests that the findings required in Government Code (GC) § 51527 of the Land Conservation Act be addressed in the staff report. The proposed LLA contains several areas of existing Williamson Act contracted land that will be reconfigured and reclassified as non-contracted land. In doing so, it is recommended that special attention be paid to GC § 51257(a)(2)-(4), (7), which hold special provisions for these types of modifications. The Department also recommends that the current ' contract be rescinded and simultaneously entered into new contract pursuant to GC § 51527.
