SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY <br /> Introduction <br /> Live Oak GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (Live Oak) was contracted by Carl Navarra to conduct <br /> a Soil Suitability Study for his property located at 34770 South Koster Road and 476 <br /> and 487,West Blewett Road, Tracy, California (Plate 1). <br /> The Soil Suitability Study was conducted to determine whether the soils are suitable for <br /> use with a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements of <br /> Section 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development code. <br /> The formatting of the report has been designed to follow the recommendations of the <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department as described in its Soil <br /> Suitability Study Requirements Checklist. <br /> Proposed Development <br /> Two minor subdivisions are proposed. Parcel -01 of the Site will be divided into three <br /> approximately 40-acre parcels and one approximately 40-acre designated remainder <br /> (Plate 2). Parcel -10 will be divided into one five-acre homesite parcel, three <br /> approximately 40-acre parcels, and one approximately 40-acre designated remainder <br /> (Plate 3). No new construction is proposed. <br /> Site Description <br /> The Site for this investigation consists of two adjacent parcels. Each parcel will be <br /> divided separately under its own San Joaquin County application- The two parcels are <br /> discussed below- <br /> • Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) 266-170-01 (Koster Road Project). This parcel <br /> bears the address of 34770 South Koster Road-, it is approximately 160 acres <br /> gross in size. The northern half of this parcel is planted with almond orchard-, the <br /> southern half is open crop land. A pipeline crosses this parcel. An irrigation well <br /> is located along the southern property line. The County project application <br /> number is PA-11000$9. <br /> • APN 255-170-10 (Blewett Road Project). This parcel bears the addresses of 475 <br /> and 487 West Blewett Road-, it is approximately 160 acres gross in size. An <br /> agricultural shop building, a house, and two mobile homes are located on the <br /> southern side of this parcel. The remainder of the parcel is an orchard. One <br /> domestic well, one irrigation well, and three septic systems are located on this <br /> parcel. The Hetch Hetchy Aqueduct runs along the south side of the parcel. The <br /> County project application number is PA-1100090. <br /> LOGE 1118 Page 1 <br />
