A qualified biologist should conduct surveys at <br /> _ the appropriate time of year to determine if listed plant or animal species or wetlands <br /> occur in the area. Surveys should meet the protocol standards of the U.S. Fish and 1 <br /> Wildlife Service and the California Department of Fish and Game. <br /> If right of way is being dedicated to Caltrans, the applicant is required to submit a <br /> copy of Attachment A, confirming that the land to be dedicated to Caltrans is free of t <br /> hazardous waste.
