As previously
noted, at start-up the proposed project is estimated to produce 500,000 tons of aggregate per year. During
peak production, this would generate 224 daily truck trips. Table 18 presents the estimated year 2007
plus project truck loading frequencies by hour of a typical day. The number of peak daily two-way truck
trips that would be generated by hour was estimated based on a total of 2,732 two-way truck trips (2,508
from the 2007 base conditions plus 224 with the project). The AM and PM peak hours were identified to
include 6:00 to 7:00 a.m. (AM peak hour)and 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. (PM peak hour). As shown in Table 18,
these two hours would have 272 and 64 two-way truck trips respectively that would be entering and
exiting Route 132.
TABLE 18
YEAR 2007 PLUS PROJECT HOURLY TRUCK LOADING FREQUENCIES
AND ESTIMATED HOURLY TRUCK GENERATION
AM PERIOD
Daily 12:00 1 :00 2:00 3:00 4:00 5:0 0
Total 2-W ay 1 :00 2:00 3:00 4:00 5:00 6:00
2,732 7 7 7 22 66 167
of Dail 0.3% 0.2% 0.2% 0_8% 2.4% 6.1%
AM PERIOD
Daily6:00 7:00 8:00 9:00 10:00 11:00
Total 2-W ay 7:00 8:00 9:00 10:00 11:00 12:00
2,732 272 275 264 249 257 213
% of Dail 10.0% 10.0% 9.7% 9.1% 9.4% 7.8% _
PM PERIOD
Daily 12:00 1 :00 2:00 3:00 4:00 5:00
Total 2-W ay 1:00 2:00 3:00 4:00 5:00 6:00
2,732 1 211 221 177 119 64 28 _
% of Daily 1 7.7% 8.1% 6.5% 4.3% 2.3% 1.0%
PM PERIOD
Daily 6:00 7:00 8:00 9:00 10:00 11 :00
'rota12-Way 7:00 8:00 9:00 10:00 11:00 12:00
2,732 25 25 22 12 13 10
of Daily 0.9% 0.9% 0.8% 0.4% 0.5% 0.4%
2nd Draft DeSilva Gates Quarry Trak&Circulation Analysis 24 October 2005
Jones&Stokes (R905TIS002/25-4000-02)
