A re istered engineer or geologist shall design themonitorin wells. The wells shall be <br /> located between the Phase 1 sedimentation poids and the Delta-Mendota Canal for monitoring <br /> of any shallow perched groundwater. The applicant shall monitor water levels guarter[ to ensure <br /> that if a zone of saturation fomes beneath the canal it does not rise to a level higher than the <br /> invert of the canal. The quarterly monitoring re orts shall be sent annually to the Develo ment <br /> Services Division of the County Community Development De artment and include recommended <br /> corrective actions if necessarv. Such monitorina wells are not re uired if sedimentation ponds <br /> are maintained below the invert elevation of the Delta-Mendota Canal or the California Aqueduct. <br /> ' Additional Condition <br /> Community Development Department <br /> I.Y. A registered engineer shall design the proposed sedimentation pond dike.
