Based on the de%c:ription and map provided, the <br /> construction and operation of this facility could affect the waters of the state, and will need to be <br /> + regulated by the Regional Board. <br /> J'he California Water Code(Chapter 4, Article 4, Section 13260) requires any person proposing to <br /> discharge waste to file with the Regional Board a report of the discharge containing such information as <br /> l the Board requires. Each report shall he accompanied by a filing fee. The Water Code further provides <br /> i that no person shall initiate any new discharge of waste prior to the issuance of waste discharge <br /> requirements, the expiration of 120 days after ding a completed Report of Waste Discharge, of the <br /> Regional Board's waiver,whichever occurs first. <br /> Enclosed for your information and passible use are: <br /> • Instructions, filing fee schedule and blank Report of Waste Discharge form <br /> • Additional information requirements <br /> When we receive the completed report containing the additional information along with the applicable <br /> filing fee, we will formulate waste discharge requirements for your discharge. According to the limited <br /> information we now have, this project will be classified as a 111-e under the Non-Chapter 15 WDKs <br /> Program, for a $200 filing fee. <br /> Some things to be aware of as you plan and design the project are: <br /> • San Joaquin County will be the lead agency, and indications are that they will require an <br /> Environmental impact Report to be completed, in accordance with the California Environmental <br /> Quality Act (CEQA). <br /> t <br />
