While the Wellhead project was on the books prior to the GWF project,
it was also on hold and pending cancellation.
Now it seems that the project may be moving forward as the project has
applied for an extension on their application. Where will this all end ? The
city of Tracy will be surrounded by power plants if this continues. During
the CEC hearings for the Tracy Peaker Plant, it was noted that no less than
5 power plants are slated for our area.
Fortunately, the County of San Joaquin has the ultimate authority in
approving the Wellhead project. Please rise to the occasion and do all that
you can to stop this poisonous infiltration of our community.
Please refer this to public hearing and let the community voice their
opposition to this project.
Respectively
Edward Rogers
Concerned Tracy Citizen.
11/26/2002
