Therefore, a complete soils report by a geotechnical engineer is required. i . Provide a technical opinion and report to identify and develop methods of protection from the hazards presented by the hazardous material. (U. B.C. Section 901 (F) ) 2 . A grading plan shall be submitted and approved and a grading permit issued by the Building Inspection Division prior to performing any excavation or filling of earth material : a . A grading plan shall contain the information listed in the U. B. C. , Appendix, Chapter 70, Section 7006 ( 1) . b. The grading plan shall include complete drainage details and elevations of the adjacent parcels . Retaining wall details shall be submitted where applicable. C . Grading in excess of 5 , 000 cubic yards shall comply with Section 7014 for "Engineered Grading Requirements . " d. All recommendations of the soils engineer shall be incorporated in the grading plans . e . All compaction reports must be submitted prior to a foundation inspection. f . All grading permits are subject to apprcval by the other departments . g. All grading authorized by the permit shall be approved prior to issuance of any building permits, or beginning of any construction . 'Dote: This application requires a discretionary approval , ( i . e. , Tentative Map, Site Approval , Use Permit) .
