SIMS) <br /> ----------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> The Development Services Division has reviewed this project and <br /> offers the following comments: <br /> Unless otherwise specified, all Conditions of Approval shall be <br /> complied with prior to the issuance of any Building Permits. <br /> a. The maximum exterior noise level entering the care home <br /> shall be sixty (60) db Ldn at three (3) feet from any of the <br /> buildings ' exterior walls. <br /> b. An acoustical study shall be prepared and shall contain the <br /> following: <br /> (1) A brief description of the project including a scale <br /> map with illustration of the topographical relationship <br /> between the noise sources and the proposed project. <br /> The map shall also show lines of equal noise level in <br /> five (5) db - Ldn - steps, extending down to Ldn equals <br /> sixty (60) ; <br /> (2) Identification of noise sources, both near and far, and <br /> their characteristics, as follows: <br /> (A) Average daily level of activity (i. e. , traffic <br /> volume, flights per day) ; <br /> (B) Distriction of activity over day and night, days <br /> of the week and season; <br /> (C) Composition of noise sources, frequency (1/3 <br /> octave band) , and any unusual characteristics; <br />
