Is existing well to be removed from new proposed driveway in order to maintain 20'
wide fire access lane?
2. There shall be NO PARKING signage as per CFC along this entire access lane (new
proposed driveway).
3. Will there be any gates across access driveways to building?
4. Demonstrate appropriate turnaround capability for fire apparatus.
5. Demonstrate that 29'-9" inside radius and 47'-7" outside radius is achieved on all
turning radii.
6. Sprinklers may be required for Phase I, Phase II and Phase III of this project dependent
upon design per CFC.
7. Please identify two 20' x 70' structures south of the Phase I building.
8. If the building is nonsprinklered, then a class I automatic wet standpipes be required
where the total occupant load is greater than 1000.
9. Provide a manual fire alarm system that activates the occupant notification system
where the occupant load is greater than or equal to 300.
10. Where the occupant load is greater than 1000,the fire alarm shall initiate a signal
using an emergency voice/alarm communication system.
11. Fire pumps maybe required.
12. Emergency responder radio coverage maybe required dependent upon type of
construction.
13. Phase I building requires 210,000 gallon water tank unless sufficient information is
provided to utilize NFPA 1142 for a smaller tank. This is based upon type V-A
construction and no sprinklers.
14. Phase II building requires an additional 180,000 gallon water tank unless sufficient
information is provided to utilize NFPA 1142 for a smaller tank. This is based upon type
V-A construction and no sprinklers.
15. Phase III building requires an additional 180,000 gallon water tank unless sufficient
information is provided to utilize NFPA 1142 for a smaller tank. This is based upon type
V-A construction and no sprinklers.
16. FDC's shall be required.
2 09/06/2012 8:29 AM
