(4) Compact parking spaces shall be a minimum seven and one-half (7 Yz) feet wide and sixteen <br /> (16) feet long, be individually designated as a compact space, and make up no more than <br /> twenty-five(25) percent of the required spaces. (Development Title Section 9-1015.5[c]) <br /> e. ACCESS AND CIRCULATION: The following access requirements apply and shall be shown on <br /> the Site Plan: <br /> (1) Access driveways shall have a width of no less than twenty-five (25) feet for two-way aisles <br /> and sixteen (16) feet for one-way aisles, expect that in no case shall driveways designated as <br /> fire department access be less than twenty (20) feet wide). (Development Title Section 9- <br /> 1015.5(h)[11) <br /> f. LIGHTING: Lighting shall be provided and comply with the following: <br /> (1) If the parking area is to be used at night, parking lot and security lighting shall be installed. <br /> (Development Title Section 9-1015.5[g]) <br /> (2) Any lighting shall be designed to confine direct rays to the premises. No spillover beyond the <br /> property lines shall be permitted except onto public thoroughfares, provided, however, that such <br /> light shall not cause a hazard to motorists. (Development Title Section 9-1015.5[g][41) <br /> g. LANDSCAPING: Landscaping shall be provided and comply with the following: <br /> (1) A minimum ten (10) foot wide landscaped strip, respecting the ultimate right-of-way width of W. <br /> Larch Road, shall be installed across the frontage of the project site. (Development Title Section <br /> 9-1020.7) <br /> (2) Areas of the property which are not part of the project shall be barricaded from traffic and kept <br /> mowed and dust free. <br /> (3) The parking area shall be landscaped as specified in Section 9-1020.5 of the Development Title. <br /> The parking area shall be provided with a minimum of five percent(5%)of landscaping within the <br /> perimeter of the parking area, not including landscaping along the street frontage Eight(8)trees <br /> shall be planted, evenly spaced throughout the parking lot. <br /> (4) A five foot planting strip is required in the parking lot along the eastern and western property <br /> lines. (Development Title Section 9-1020.5[e]) <br /> h. SCREENING: Screening shall be provided and comply with the following: <br /> (1) A solid masonry wall six (6) or seven (7) feet in height shall be erected adjacent to the improved <br /> portion of the site which contains the buildings, parking lot and outdoor storage area, unless the <br /> applicant can provide an alternative acceptable to the Director.
