(4) Compact parking spaces shall be a minimum seven and one-half (7 Yz) feet wide and sixteen (16) feet long, be individually designated as a compact space, and make up no more than twenty-five(25) percent of the required spaces. (Development Title Section 9-1015.5[c]) e. ACCESS AND CIRCULATION: The following access requirements apply and shall be shown on the Site Plan: (1) Access driveways shall have a width of no less than twenty-five (25) feet for two-way aisles and sixteen (16) feet for one-way aisles, expect that in no case shall driveways designated as fire department access be less than twenty (20) feet wide). (Development Title Section 9- 1015.5(h)[11) f. LIGHTING: Lighting shall be provided and comply with the following: (1) If the parking area is to be used at night, parking lot and security lighting shall be installed. (Development Title Section 9-1015.5[g]) (2) Any lighting shall be designed to confine direct rays to the premises. No spillover beyond the property lines shall be permitted except onto public thoroughfares, provided, however, that such light shall not cause a hazard to motorists. (Development Title Section 9-1015.5[g][41) g. LANDSCAPING: Landscaping shall be provided and comply with the following: (1) A minimum ten (10) foot wide landscaped strip, respecting the ultimate right-of-way width of W. Larch Road, shall be installed across the frontage of the project site. (Development Title Section 9-1020.7) (2) Areas of the property which are not part of the project shall be barricaded from traffic and kept mowed and dust free. (3) The parking area shall be landscaped as specified in Section 9-1020.5 of the Development Title. The parking area shall be provided with a minimum of five percent(5%)of landscaping within the perimeter of the parking area, not including landscaping along the street frontage Eight(8)trees shall be planted, evenly spaced throughout the parking lot. (4) A five foot planting strip is required in the parking lot along the eastern and western property lines. (Development Title Section 9-1020.5[e]) h. SCREENING: Screening shall be provided and comply with the following: (1) A solid masonry wall six (6) or seven (7) feet in height shall be erected adjacent to the improved portion of the site which contains the buildings, parking lot and outdoor storage area, unless the applicant can provide an alternative acceptable to the Director.
