Date: April 27, 2007 Re: Lead Agency Project Title: N/A Lead Agency Project Number: PA- 0700148 (MS) Pre-Application Assessor Parcel Number(s): 177-240-30 Total Acres to be converted from Open Space Use: .5 acres Habitat Types to be Disturbed: Urban Land (No Pay) Species Impact Findings: Findings to be determined by SJMSCP biologist. Dear Ms. King: SJCOG, Inc. has reviewed application PA- 0700148 (MS). This project involves a minor subdivision pre-application to subdivide one 0.50 acre parcel into three parcels. Parcel One to contain 7,500 square feet, Parcel two to contain 5,100 square feet, and Parcel three to contain 5,000 square feet. San Joaquin County is a signatory to San Joaquin County Multi-Species Habitat Conservation and Open Space Plan (SJMSCP). Participation in the SJMSCP satisfies requirements of both the state and federal endangered species acts, and ensures that the impacts are mitigated below a level of significance in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). Although participation in the SJMSCP is voluntary, lead agents should be aware that if project applicants choose against participating in the SJMSCP, they will be required to provide alternative mitigation in an amount and kind equal to that provided in the SJMSCP. This project is not subject to participate at this time for subdividing. Any future structures that require ground disturbance on this or subsequent divided parcels will be subject to participate in the SJMSCP and should be resubmitted to this agency.
