CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
In summary, the soil conditions near the percolation test appear to be suitable. A
satisfactory soil percolation rate of 25 minutes per inch was observed. The percolation
test was placed in the proposed drainfield. The exact size of the drainfield has not yet
been determined; however, the percolation test represents an area of approximately
100 feet in radius.
The depth of ground water based on recent aquifer levels is relatively shallow,
approximately 27 to 35 feet below the ground surface. The ground-water flow direction
is to the northeast at a rate of 4.4 to 6.7 feet per mile.
There are no wells on the ite, so a water sample was not collected as part of this
study.
We believe the Site suitable for development with the use of standard septic systems
utilizing shallow leach lines and sumps up to 10 feet deep.
LOGE1008 Page 7
