`•
Soil Suitability Study 5
requirements are necessary for any wells .
Only at 26542 North Bruella Road, did the nitrate
concentrations exceed the standards established for San Joaquin
County at 45 mg/L. The nitrates at 26246 North Bruella Road for
both the domestic as well as the agricultural well were within
tolerance .
The well water analysis was performed by FGL Environmental and
is shown on the attached letters dated January 27 , 1992 and
February 3 , 1992 . There are no state or federal regulations that
apply public drinking water standards to private wells . However ,
special requirements and considerations would be required to
provide safe nitrate standards on any well installation for the
general public ' s use .
Engineer ' s Statement :
Septic Systems can be installed to the density proposed and it
is not expected to impact groundwater nor cause other health
hazards .
Walter E.
