_ t
. Don flush undesirable substances into the new sewer. Flushing
t " - flammable and toxic products is dangerous, while other materials
_ such as paper towels, rags, newspaper, cigarettes, coffee grounds,
egg shells, sanitary napkins, large amounts of hair and cooking
grease are a mawtenance nuisance and will also increase the
f equency of pumper septage from the tangy
Don't dump recreational vehicle(RV)waste into your septic tank
because it will increase the amount of solids entering the septic tank
and the brequency of required septage pumping. RV waste dumped
directly into the screened vault will clog the pump and plug the
screen. Some RV waste may contain chemicals that are toxic or that
may adversely effect the biological activity in your tank..
Don't use garbage disposal systems because they also increase the
amount of solids entering your tank. Compost scraps or dispose
with your trash Collect grease in a container rather than disposing
down the drain Some items(egg shells, coffee grounds, tea bags,
and so forth)are not biodegradable, even ground up. -Dispose of
these items in the trash.
Don't flush floor wax or rag cleaner into your septic tank,. These
products will interfere with the normal operation of your septic tank.
Don't flush pool or spa products into your system, and limit your use
of bath and body oils, as they can overload your system's digestion
` capacity.
OLX
