• Past Uses of the Site <br /> Based on information reviewed for the Surface & Subsurface Contamination Report <br /> (Live Oak, 2016), the Site has been used for vineyard since approximately 1998. (7 <br /> Existing and Proposed Septic Tank Usage <br /> Existing Septic System <br /> No septic systems are currently located on the Site. <br /> Proposed Septic System <br /> Mr. Watts indicated that no new construction is planned. [!3• � <br /> On-Site Septic Permit History <br /> Live Oak searched the septic system permits on file at the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department; no septic permits were identified for the Site (3, <br /> address. <br /> Existing Septic Tank Usage in the Vicinity <br /> • To estimate the existing septic system usage in the area, our office counted septic <br /> systems located within approximately one square mile surrounding the property. Aerial <br /> imagery from Google Earth was used. Each building cluster on the photograph was (,7/,o <br /> assumed to have one septic system. Using this method, it is estimated that 14 or more <br /> septic systems per square mile are present in the immediate vicinity of the Site. <br /> The general area consists of open, agricultural land and vineyards, with rural residences <br /> and agricultural buildings located along the roadways. <br /> Septic Permit History in the Vicinity <br /> Based on a review of septic permits on file at the San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health Department for nearby properties, it appears that the septic systems in the area (3 S 3.G) <br /> utilize leach lines with seepage pits. The septic permits can be found in Appendix 4 of <br /> this report. <br /> Expected On-Site Maximum Septic Tank Usage <br /> No residential construction is planned; therefore, no septic use is expected. Although <br /> development is not anticipated, San Joaquin County would allow the construction of a <br /> primary and secondary dwelling on each parcel; the maximum potential septic usage on <br /> the Site would be from these dwellings. <br /> • <br /> LOGE 1621 Page 2 <br />
