To the west across the access road from the <br /> Quonset but is a large, steel equipment shed, which is also empty. These buildings are all <br /> mounted on slab foundations. The slab floor in the Quonset but is significantly stained, <br /> suggesting the possibility of numerous small spills of liquid pesticides. The soil in the <br /> immediate vicinity of the structure was probed and no odors or visible evidence suggested <br /> that significant releases of pesticides have impacted the soil around the building. <br /> Adjacent to the south side of the pesticide but is a large above ground diesel tank. The tank <br /> appears to have a capacity of about 10,000 gallons. The tank is also equipped with an <br /> electrically actuated dispenser pump. The soil in the immediate vicinity of the pump exudes <br /> a diesel odor, but probing suggests the diesel impact extends less than a foot into the <br /> subsurface. <br /> Open area around the southern periphery of the building complex is used, in part, to store <br /> various large pieces of farm equipment. <br /> Buildings described here are also depicted in Site Map 2 in Appendix A and in photos in <br /> Appendix B. <br /> Adjacent Properties <br /> Adjacent Properties North <br /> Linne Road marks the north line of the Property. On the opposite side is more agricultural <br /> Property including a farm-building complex. <br /> Adjacent Properties South <br /> Agricultural lands are adjacent to the south. <br /> Adjacent Properties East <br /> Kasson Road bounds the Property. On the opposite side is a large dairy. <br /> Adjacent Properties West <br /> Koster Road bounds the Property.
