SUBJECT: Soil Suitabiiity Study
APPLICATION NUMBER: MS-92-175
[1] EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This Soil Suitability Study presents the results of our investigation concerning the soil strata under
r.
the subject property. The property is located on Linne Road, 1300 feet west Chrisman Road. This
study was performed to determine if the site is acceptable for septic systems which will function
properly and pose no adverse environmental impact to surface waters or to the underlying
groundwater. This report is in compliance with the requirements of Development Title Section
9-1105.2 Item (d) of the San Joaquin County Ordinance Codes.
` [2] SUBJECT SITE AND STUDY AREA BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The subject property is currently in walnuts and is to consist of parcels 1, 2, 3 and 4. It is located
south of the City of Tracy in a predominately agricultural region. There is currently a residential
structure on parcel 1. Surrounding structures consist of low density single family housing,
ranches and ranchettes, a school and commercial facilities. Agricultural production consists
mostly of tree and row crops. It is our understanding development of this project may not occur
IM" immediately. The topography of the site is flat, therefore, a proposed septic system design would
not have to be altered to accommodate slopes.
..
A review of Application Permits on file with the San Joaquin County Environmental Health
Department shows there have been seven Applications for Repairs/Additions in the one mile
diameter study area. These applications for system modifications were primarily for additional
_ drainage to existing systt ins. There are also sumps in the study area as denoted on one of the
permits. Well logs in the study area were not available for inspection.
Our reports and letters are submitted as the confidential property of our clients for their exclusive use.Any publication or reproduction of statements, conclusions or extracts from or
regarding our reports or letters is reserved, contingent upon the written authorization of Quallty Control Inspection,Inc.
