The current need
is now 10 to 14 micro-wineries and tasting rooms. The same buildings and locations
would be used, but the individual spaces would remain smaller. These 10 to 14 micro-
wineries combined would crush less than 2,000 tons of grapes per year, which is
currently approved under our existing Site Approval.
We have also determined that the reuse of the existing 2.3 million gallons of concrete
tanks for bulk wine storage is not economically feasible or desirable by the current wine
industry, which is moving towards more smaller hand crafted lots of wine. These tanks
would better serve the current industry needs at our facility as barrel storage units, small
winemaking units and tasting rooms for which they are already naturally suited.
In summary we wish to eliminate 2 million gallons of bulk storage from Phases 1, 2 & 3
and add six additional micro-winery units and tasting rooms to be completed during our
Phase 2 construction work. Please call me if you have any questions or need additional
information.
Sincere' "
n ' chfield
Principal
