The orchard apparent <br /> in the previous years has been removed. <br /> These photos are included in Appendix C of this report. NOA's ability to interpret the land <br /> uses is limited by the scale and quality of the photos. <br /> 2.3 United States Geological Survey Topographic Maps <br /> The topographic quadrangle depicting the subject property is the U.S. Geological Survey, <br /> Manteca, California, quadrangle map. One 7.5-minute map dated 1993, was obtained from <br /> Microsoft Terraserver. <br /> In the 1993 map, the subject property is depicted as an orchard and open land. Lone Tree <br /> Creek is depicted on the property as are electrical transmission lines. The property is depicted <br /> approximately 60 to 65 feet above mean sea level. Surrounding properties are depicted as <br /> agricultural land with few structures. j <br /> This map is included in Appendix C of this report. <br /> 2.4 Interviews <br /> An attempt was made to obtain historical as well as current information relative to the subject <br /> property from the property owner or key site manager of the property. An Environmental <br /> Questionnaire and Disclosure Statement were completed by Daniel R. Costa, property tenant <br /> and Gurmit S. Jhalli property owner. A copy of the responses has been included in this report <br /> as Appendix D. <br /> In his responses to the questionnaire, Mr. Costa indicated a title report or previous <br /> environmental report and tentative map have not been prepared for the property. He was not <br /> aware of any environmental liens or land use limitations recorded against the property. He <br /> indicated he did not have specialized knowledge or experience relating to environmental <br /> conditions on the property. Mr. Costa indicated the purchase price of the property is not <br /> significantly lower than that of the comparable surrounding properties and the proposed future <br /> use of the property is farming. <br /> In his responses to the questionnaire, Mr. Jhalli indicated he and Surjit Kaur Jhalli are the <br /> current property owners and the land was purchased in approximately 1999. He indicated the _-- <br /> previous property owner was Richard D. Hines and the land is currently used for farming by <br /> Dan R. Costa. <br /> Mr. Jhalli indicated to the best of his knowledge there has not been a gasoline station, motor <br /> repair facility, commercial printing facility, dry cleaners, photo developing laboratory, junkyard, <br /> landfill, waste treatment, storage, disposal, processing or recycling facility located on the <br /> property or the adjacent properties.
