The pu pose of var study was to
determine the s1l_ta_hility of the property for septic tank usage. Th., study Was performed in
general actorda:.ce tc the requirements of Section 9-lolo= of San Soaquir, County Ordinance.
The following includes background information regarding the proposed development, present
use of the site, and a historical gruundwater depths in the project area. In addition, discussions
regarding our investigative procedures and the site conditions encountered during our field
exploration and the results of percolation tests are presented. Finally, the results of our nitrate
loading calculations and project limitations are provided.
PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT
On a preliminary basis, we understand the subject 1.13-acre project site will contain an
approximate 2,400 square foot office building, equipment storage area, and stormwater retention
pond At the time of our visit, the site appeared to have been rough graded and had no
vegetation.
We anticipate that waste disposal for the office building will he provided by an individual on-site
sewage disposal system consisting of aseptic tank and leach trench disposal field. We anticipate
that iisnncal trenches may be cut deep in order to intersect suitable percolating soils or shallow
leach rime gill lead to a seepage pit or well for disposal of effluent.
According to groundwater reports published by the San JnaTA rrn,nty Flnnd r nmi and
Water Conservation District (Sprig !994 to Spring 1999), high groundwater in the project area
has been recorded at depths in the range of about 75 to 90 feet below ground surface.
3nacRv_1 rnlnnv MOW" Tuae.4,2001
®2001 Kleinfelder,Tne Peg:'--'4
KLh1NKLLXK 2825 Eag Myrtle Strom,Stmkron,CA 95205-4794 (209)948.1345 (209)948.0621 Fax
