ASSURED INSPECTION MANAGEMENT
AIM
TESTING LABORATORY
(Page 4 )
VI GROUND WATER DEPTH AND TESTING (Continued)
Testing was performed for the presence of EDB (ethelylene
dibromide) , DBCP (dibromochloropropane) and Nitrates . A copy of
the test results is enclosed herein . The results indicated that
the substances tested were below the maximum concentration level
allowed by law.
VII SOIL PROFILE AND PERCOLATION TESTS
On June 28, 1991 , four test sites were drilled using a 6" hollow
stem auger. The soils were classified as mostly silty material .
Percolation tests were conducted on July 1 , 1991 . Sandy soil
conditions were encountered at the maximum depths drilled. Due
to the sandy soil conditions having fast percolation rates, it
was necessary to take readings at 10 minute intervals over a one
hour period. A soil profile and percolation test report is
enclosed herein. Tests were witnessed by San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Specialist, Mr. Hector Castro. Results
were found favorable.
VIII CONCLUSION
Based on the past performance of the existing septic system on
the property and adjacent properties, the soil profiles
encountered, and the percolation test results ; it is our
professional opinion that the subject property is well suited
for the existing septic system and that the existing and
proposed septic systems should not adversely affect the quality
of the ground water for the area .
2900 Standiford Avenue, Suite 16B-278 • Modesto, CA 95350 • (209) 523-0754
