An irrigation canal rums to the southwest of the subject property,Lone Tree Road defines the northern boundary,and Victory Road defines the eastern boundary. Three structures appear on the subject property. Surrounding properties are depicted as open land with scattered structures along the major roads. I L This map is included in Appendix C of this report. 2.4 Interviews An attempt was made to obtain historical as well as current information relative to the subject property from the property owner or key site manager of the property. An Environmental Questionnaire and ` Disclosure Statement was completed by Verne Schultz, owner of the subject property, on April 27, 2006. A copy of his responses has been included in this report as Appendix E. In his responses to the questionnaire,Mr.Schultz indicated that he has owned the property since 1973. 6" Edward and Eara Schultz were the previous owners, and are now deceased.The property is currently used for a residence and agricultural purposes. There was a dairy on the property in the 1940's. 1 L Mr.Schultz was interview by telephone on May 12,2006;at this time he indicated that he might sell the 10-acre parcel, and keep the remaining 12-acre parcel with the residences and shop. L 3.0 PAST AND CURRENT SOURCES OF CONTAMINATION L3.1 Research Methods NOA employs a standard practice for review of database information. On a street map showing the location of the subject property, a circle is drawn one-quarter mile out from the property boundaries, and street maps or web-based mapping services are then used to determine address ranges for all streets within the quarter mile. All agency databases searchable by address are then searched for these address ranges. r JL1 Regional Dater Quality Control Board I ` NOA reviewed the Leaking Underground Storage Tanks (LUST) list (April 2006), the Water Puvvyorr QuarteryReport on MTBE (April 2006), and the Spills, Leaks, Investigations, and Cleanups (SLdC) list (V Quarter 2005) on file with the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB)'in v an attempt to determine if there are any files present at that agency which note the unauthorized release of a toxic or hazardous agent into the environment on the subject property or within a one-quarter mile Lradius of the subject property.
