An irrigation canal rums to the southwest of the subject property,Lone Tree <br /> Road defines the northern boundary,and Victory Road defines the eastern boundary. Three structures <br /> appear on the subject property. Surrounding properties are depicted as open land with scattered <br /> structures along the major roads. <br /> I <br /> L This map is included in Appendix C of this report. <br /> 2.4 Interviews <br /> An attempt was made to obtain historical as well as current information relative to the subject property <br /> from the property owner or key site manager of the property. An Environmental Questionnaire and <br /> ` Disclosure Statement was completed by Verne Schultz, owner of the subject property, on April 27, <br /> 2006. A copy of his responses has been included in this report as Appendix E. <br /> In his responses to the questionnaire,Mr.Schultz indicated that he has owned the property since 1973. <br /> 6" Edward and Eara Schultz were the previous owners, and are now deceased.The property is currently <br /> used for a residence and agricultural purposes. There was a dairy on the property in the 1940's. <br /> 1 <br /> L Mr.Schultz was interview by telephone on May 12,2006;at this time he indicated that he might sell the <br /> 10-acre parcel, and keep the remaining 12-acre parcel with the residences and shop. <br /> L 3.0 PAST AND CURRENT SOURCES OF CONTAMINATION <br /> L3.1 Research Methods <br /> NOA employs a standard practice for review of database information. On a street map showing the <br /> location of the subject property, a circle is drawn one-quarter mile out from the property boundaries, <br /> and street maps or web-based mapping services are then used to determine address ranges for all streets <br /> within the quarter mile. All agency databases searchable by address are then searched for these address <br /> ranges. <br /> r <br /> JL1 Regional Dater Quality Control Board <br /> I <br /> ` NOA reviewed the Leaking Underground Storage Tanks (LUST) list (April 2006), the Water Puvvyorr <br /> QuarteryReport on MTBE (April 2006), and the Spills, Leaks, Investigations, and Cleanups (SLdC) list (V <br /> Quarter 2005) on file with the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB)'in <br /> v an attempt to determine if there are any files present at that agency which note the unauthorized release <br /> of a toxic or hazardous agent into the environment on the subject property or within a one-quarter mile <br /> Lradius of the subject property.
