Our conclusion is that these plans are <br /> unacceptable. The improvement plans must be submitted to the City of Stockton's Public <br /> Works Department in the format as specified in the City's Standard Specifications and <br /> Plans. <br /> In addition, MUD has the following comments: <br /> • Standard notes are missing. <br /> • Plan and profile sheets are missing. <br /> • Water System Analysis is required. Utilize an industrial fire flow of 4,500 gpm <br /> (refer to City's Standard Specifications and Plans for other parameters) <br /> • Signature block for City Engineer is missing (refer to City's Standard <br /> Specifications and Plans). <br /> • Valves are required at every water main intersection, bends and every 600' (refer <br /> to City's Standard Specifications and Plans). <br /> • Maintain waterline in street right-of-way, as opposed to on the sidewalk. <br /> • Location of fire hydrants require review and approval of City Fire Department <br /> • Sheet C-9: Some of the infrastructure shown has been abandoned (refer to the <br /> attachment for further information) <br /> • Sheets C-5 and C-6: Water services sized 3" are not typical, but water meters <br /> may be 4". Revise services to 2" or 4". <br /> • Sheet C-5: 8"W fire service loop, serving Buildings A, B, C, and D, will be <br /> maintained by the City. Relocate valves and double-check backflow prevention <br /> assemblies to fire services serving each building. <br /> • Refer to City's Standard Specifications and Plans for details of fire service and <br /> domestic connections to City water main.
