The site is along a portion of the San Joaquin River that is State regulated.A permit or letter <br /> stating a permit is not required from the Central Valley Flood Protection Board is required,at <br /> which time a San Joaquin county Watercourse Encroachment permit may be required for the <br /> project. (Development Title Section 9-1605.16(d) (2)) <br /> 2. A permit may be required from the Corp of Engineers. Should a permit not be required by the Corp <br /> of Engineers, a letter from the USACE stating that a permit is not required shall accompany a San <br /> Joaquin County Watercourse Encroachment permit application. <br />
