The borings were six inches in diameter and were 3.3 and <br /> 11.4 feet deep. On June 14, 2010, David Welch of Live Oak excavated one shallow soil <br /> boring near the previous borings to confirm the soil properties reported by NATS. The <br /> boring locations are indicated on Plate 2. <br /> The soil in the borings was within the range of what would be anticipated based on the <br /> Soil Survey data reviewed; a hardpan layer was observed from 1.2 to 2.2 feet below <br /> ground surface, The log for the soil borings is presented in Plate 9. <br /> LOGE1016 page 5 <br />
