BEFORE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN JOAQUIN, STATE OF CALIFORNIA R-93-647 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPEAL OF THE .SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND APPROVING USE PERMIT APPLICATION NO. UP-93-2 OF SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS FOR THE LOVELACE TRANSFER STATION, SUBJECT TO THE ATTACHED CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL. WHEREAS, on July 15, 1993, the San Joaquin County Planning Commission considered this matter; and WHEREAS, on September 28th and October 5, 1993 , this Board of Supervisors did conduct a public hearing on said matter, notice of which hearing was given in accordance with law, and oral and documentary evidence having been received in favor of or opposed to said matter, and this Board of Supervisors being advised on the premises; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by this Board of Supervisors that the appeal be approved and Use Permit Application No. UP-93-2 be, and it hereby is, approved subject to the attached Conditions of Approval. AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by this Board of Supervisors that the Department of Public Works is hereby directed to: • Evaluate the feasibility of providing a solid masonry wall around the perimeter of the site. • Reassess the traffic analysis to insure proper assignment of project trips to the corresponding road segments, that adequate site access is provided to Lovelace Road, and that adequate mitigation measures are developed and implemented to offset identified traffic impacts to the county road system, Lovelace Road and the adjoining developed residential properties; and, • Review the tarping policy with the goal of achieving better compliance. • Submit their findings and recommendations to the Board of Supervisors for consideration of approval. 0110AT 11 OCT 18 1993 V WMMUNI i r UCYCLurInuV 1 UEPT.
