BEFORE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN JOAQUIN, <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> R-93-647 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPEAL OF THE .SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND APPROVING USE PERMIT APPLICATION NO. <br /> UP-93-2 OF SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS FOR THE <br /> LOVELACE TRANSFER STATION, SUBJECT TO THE ATTACHED CONDITIONS OF <br /> APPROVAL. <br /> WHEREAS, on July 15, 1993, the San Joaquin County Planning <br /> Commission considered this matter; and <br /> WHEREAS, on September 28th and October 5, 1993 , this Board of <br /> Supervisors did conduct a public hearing on said matter, notice of <br /> which hearing was given in accordance with law, and oral and <br /> documentary evidence having been received in favor of or opposed to <br /> said matter, and this Board of Supervisors being advised on the <br /> premises; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by this Board of Supervisors <br /> that the appeal be approved and Use Permit Application No. UP-93-2 <br /> be, and it hereby is, approved subject to the attached Conditions <br /> of Approval. <br /> AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by this Board of Supervisors that <br /> the Department of Public Works is hereby directed to: <br /> • Evaluate the feasibility of providing a solid masonry <br /> wall around the perimeter of the site. <br /> • Reassess the traffic analysis to insure proper assignment <br /> of project trips to the corresponding road segments, that <br /> adequate site access is provided to Lovelace Road, and <br /> that adequate mitigation measures are developed and <br /> implemented to offset identified traffic impacts to the <br /> county road system, Lovelace Road and the adjoining <br /> developed residential properties; and, <br /> • Review the tarping policy with the goal of achieving <br /> better compliance. <br /> • Submit their findings and recommendations to the Board of <br /> Supervisors for consideration of approval. <br /> 0110AT 11 <br /> OCT 18 1993 V <br /> WMMUNI i r UCYCLurInuV 1 UEPT. <br /> PLANNING DIMON <br />
