Participation in the SJMSCP satisfies requirements of both the <br /> state and federal endangered species acts, and ensures that the impacts are mitigated below a <br /> level of significance in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act(CEQA). <br /> Although participation in the SJMSCP is voluntary, lead agents should be aware that if project <br /> applicants choose against participating in the SJMSCP, they will be required to provide <br /> alternative mitigation in an amount and kind equal to that provided in the SJMSCP. <br /> SJCOG, Inc. has reviewed application PA-3000666 (UP). This project involves a creating 8,600 <br /> square foot classroom and a 12,900 square foot worship hall to be built in two phases. The <br /> project is located east of Lower Sacramento and south of Harney Lane; southwest of Lodi. <br /> This project will require the conversion of Row and Field Crops (unditched) and as such should <br /> condition the project applicant(s) to participate in the SJMSCP. <br /> If you have any questions, please give me a call at (209) 468-3913. <br />
