F! ` '
0 PERTINENT ENVIRONMENTAL EXPERIENCE
Over the past 7 years the company has conducted approximately 200 Phase I
F Environmental Assessments for ownership transfer of commercial and agricultural properties.
The purpose of the assessments was to determine,by various means, the historical environmental
past of a business and or parcels of land. The audit combined with physical site inspections
F, provided information to determine if a more in depth investigation is necessary. Included in the
assessments and report is information regarding current and past practices of handling hazardous
materials, field interviews, and regulatory record search. The assessment helps to determine
E whether any liability exists in terms of a hazardous waste cleanup.
Fj
In addition, over the past 7 years, the company has conducted over 100 subsurface
investigations involving drilling for soil and groundwater samples and installation of
groundwater monitoring wells. Most of the investigations were the result of leaking
underground petroleum storage tanks. Some of the work was related to solvents and heavy
kri
metals. Cleanup methods designed and implemented involved excavation, pump and treatment
and soil vapor extraction.
E _; Since the State Cleanup Fund (for leaking underground tanks) has been available, we
have assisted clients in the preparation of their claim and reimbursement requests. We have also
F
prepared risk assessments for closure of various contamination sites.
REPORT WRITING CAPABILITIES
F! The company has prepared numerous reports for both private industry and government
agencies. Our work had been used for both project permitting and for client compliance with
rregulatory mandates. All principles have experience in presentation of client goals at public
E
hearings.
' The company has recently prepared Remedial Investigation - Feasibility Study
F! documents for several clients under mandate of Region IX - EPA and both the Central Valley
and Central Coast Regional Water Quality Control Boards. The documents prepared for Region
IX- EPA were prepared under CERCLA criteria.
E CONTAMINATION PROBLEMS
I-? Contaminants of interest at the sites we have worked on since 1985 include:
Gasoline Diesel Fuel Kerosene
Fi BTEX Carbon Tetrachloride TCA
TCE DDD/DDE/DDT Mercury Dieldrin
F# MTBE Volatile Organic Compounds Cyanide
PARTIAL CLIENT LIST
PThe company has acted as environmental and geologic consultants for the
following firms, either as prime consultant or a joint venture partner, for much of our
i Environmentally oriented work:
2
Fj
