WASTE DISCHARGE REQUIREMENTS,ORDER NO, 8 <br /> ALPINE PACKING COMPANY,INC. <br /> WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEM,SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> b. The discharge complies with the Basin Plan, and <br /> c. The wastewater does not need to be managed according to Title 22 CCR, Division 4.5, and <br /> Chapter 11, as a hazardous waste. <br /> 49. Pursuant to California Water Code Section 13263(8), discharge is a privilege, not a right, and <br /> adoption of this Order does not create a vested right to continue the discharge. <br /> PUBLIC NOTICE <br /> 50. The Regional Board considered all the above and the supplemental information and details in the <br /> attached Information Sheet, which is incorporated by reference herein, in establishing the <br /> following conditions of discharge. <br /> 51. The Regional Board has notified the Discharger and interested agencies and persons of its intent <br /> to prescribe waste discharge requirements for this discharge and has provided an opportunity for a <br /> public hearing and an opportunity to submit written comments. <br /> 52. The Regional Board, in a public meeting, heard and considered all comments pertaining to the <br /> discharge. <br /> IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Order No. 92-054 is rescinded and pursuant to Section 13263 and <br /> 13267 of the California Water Code, Alpine Packing Company, its agents, successors, and assigns, in <br /> order to meet the provisions contained in Division 7 of the California Water Code and regulations <br /> adopted thereunder, shall comply with the following: <br /> Note: Other prohibitions, conditions, definitions, and the method of determining compliance are <br /> contained in the attached "Standard Provisions and Reporting Requirements for Waste Discharge <br /> Requirements" dated 1 March 1991. <br /> A. Discharge Prohibitions: <br /> 1. Discharge of wastes (including tailwater from the land application areas and stormwater <br /> which has come in contact with wastewater) to surface waters or surface water drainage <br /> courses is prohibited. <br /> 2. Bypass or overflow of untreated or partially treated waste is prohibited. <br /> 3. Discharge of waste classified as `hazardous,' defined in Section 20164 of Title 27, CCR, or <br /> `designated', as defined in Section 13173 of the California Water Code, is prohibited. <br /> 4. The discharge of wastewater other than to the land application areas identified in Finding No. <br /> 18 is prohibited. <br /> 5. The application of solid waste, or settled solids from the sumps, to the land application areas <br /> is prohibited. <br /> 6.
