RCS has been licensed by the FCC to establish a <br /> Personal Communications Services (PCS) system, utilizing the most current digital <br /> technology. RCS is an affiliate of Roseville Telephone Company, a local exchange telephone <br /> carrier in Northern California. <br /> The aQplicant requests the following <br /> RCS Wireless requests a Site Approval in accordance with the regulations of County of San <br /> Joaquin for a Communications Facility to accommodate its antennas and equipment at the <br /> above mentioned project location. <br /> Project Description: <br /> This permit application requests zoning and planning approval for one freestanding 80' <br /> freestanding slimline monopole (Please see attached site plans.) The plans indicate an RCS <br /> Wireless antenna array of three panel antennas at a rad center of 77.5'. The typical size of <br /> panel antenna are 5' tall by 8" wide. RCS is leasing approximately 300 square feet of property <br /> from the earlier mentioned property owner for the location of this facility as well as the <br /> accompanying radio cabinets that it will require for the operation of this site. The entire area <br /> will be secured by a 6' chain link fence topped with three strands of barbwire for the <br /> protection of the carrier's equipment <br /> The required utilities will be brought in from the nearest available source. Access and <br /> easement issues have been approved by the property owner. Direct access to the project <br /> location is within the subject parcel.
