In a Site Closure Report dated August 22, 2002, by Doulos + Environmental,it is indicated that the site is no longer a risk and should be closed. The case was closed in September of 2003. Van San Associates is approximately one-eighth mile east of the subject property.A Preliminary Site Assessment Work Plan by Advanced GeoEnvironmental,dated October 2002,was reviewed at EHD. According to this report a soil boring was requested to"investigate the potential for contamination at i the site as the result of the usage of a septic system." A Preliminary Site / Assessment Work Plan by Geo-Phase Environmental, dated January 9, 2004, was reviewed at EHD. According to this report"the boring is proposed pursuant to recommendations contained in a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) completed on December 17,2003, and is intended to assess weather a former underground gasoline tank may have impacted the groundwater." Lab results showed that levels of Petroleum Hydrocarbons were below the detection limit.No further information was on file for this property.
