Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be
modified.
A. Environmental Health Department requires a soil suitability study incorporating number of
proposed staff and customer use, indicating that the area is suitable for septic tank usage.
This must be performed prior to Improvement Plan or Final Occupancy approval (San
Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d)). A review fee of$178.00 must be
paid at time of submittal to Environmental Health Department.
The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin
County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of
septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal
system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$89.00 per percolation hole is required.
NOTE: The existing septic system for this facility was installed on June 30, 1983, under
Environmental Health Department's permit# 83-364. The installation does not match
the site plan as drawn.
B. State on revised site plans the maximum number of employees and custormers the sewage
disposal system is being designed for. In addition, show on revised plans that the leach field
area will be barricaded so it cannot be driven over, parked on, or used as a storage area. This
leach field area must be used for that specific purpose only, and it cannot contain any
underground utility lines (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1110.4(c)(5)).
Page 1 of 2 RED
