The site was previously flood irrigated&is therefore relatively flat. <br /> Describe agricultural land that will be lost as a result of the project(type of crops,acres,quality of soil,etc.): <br /> The Southeastern comer of the parcel(an area approximately 175,000 sf)will be the general area of the winery. This portion of the parcel currently has an existing residence&several <br /> shoplstorage bldgs. Most of this 175,000 of area is not currently being farmed but approximately 66,000 of of existing almond orchard will be removed for this project. Soil quality is fair. <br /> The remainder of the parcel(approx.91%of parcel)will be untouched by this project. This untouched area is currently an almond orchard. <br /> Describe any wildlife habitat on-site and species that are of may be present: <br /> Gophers <br /> Describe any vegetation on-site by type and extent: <br /> Approximately 91%of the parcel is covered with an almond orchard. The remainder of the parcel is used for residential and ag-storage,with some <br /> landscaping around the house. This existing landscaping will remain. <br /> Air Quality <br /> Describe air pollutants that may result from the project(e.g.construction related dust,vehicle trips per day,fire places, incinerators, <br /> etc.): <br /> Dust associated wl construction activities such as earth moving,excavation&building construction will be minimized by using a water truck&water hoses to maintain adequate moisture <br /> levels in the soil. Stock piles of dirt will also be treated with water to prevent blowing dust.
