CERTIFICATION AND TRAINING <br /> Persons working as applicators or flaggers (except <br /> 1. Each person prior to handling Furadan 4F for use on grapes must become <br /> 'Certified trained' by attending training provided by the registrant. All records applicators working in an enclosed cab or flaggers world <br /> of attendance and training shall be maintained :)y the employer. <br /> in an enclosed vehicle) shall wear a dust/mist respirator <br /> 2. During all'handling" activities"Handlers" must have in possession, proof that ^ictsIt <br /> they received the training and are'certified trai ied'. approved by MSHA/ —(number prefix TC-84—A) . <br /> B. APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS <br /> 1. Apply a minimum of ten gallons of water per vi ie through drip(trickle) <br /> emitter. <br /> 2. Do not apply Furadan 4F for at least seven day s after harvest to allow berries <br /> on the ground to dry(raisined). — <br /> 3. For post-harvest drip irrigations, apply up to a naximum of two applications — <br /> of three quarts per acre, or up to a maximum c f three applications of two <br /> quarts per acre only. — <br /> 4. After the application and irrigation in soils whet a puddling is known to occur, j <br /> look for, and eliminate, puddles; or enough time must be allowed to ensure <br /> dissipation of puddles two hours prior to sunrise. <br /> 5. No daylight irrigation is to occur until the mininium gallonage is applied, or at <br /> least 21 days after Furadan 4F application. <br /> 6. A"certified trained" person shall be at the appi cation site during the <br /> application and until the flushing of the lines is completed. The"certified <br /> trained" person shall shut the system down an i make necessary adjustments <br /> should the need arise. <br /> T Within.24-hours of the completion of the application and flushing, the <br /> property ovmer will survey the entire treated ar as for dead birds. Carcasses <br /> will ba hold under refrigeration and given to thi i agricultural commissioner's <br /> offic*or disposed of as directed by the agricut ural commissioner. <br />
